Salesforce is looking for a Senior/Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to create and develop AI and LLM-based solutions with Agentforce. The position requires the creation of smart agents, the control of complicated data ecosystems, and the direction of influential AI projects that solve major business problems thus allowing companies to become more efficient and to use intelligent automation more widely.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver scalable and high-performance production systems powered by AI and LLMs.

• Lead the development of smart agents and automated workflows on both the Salesforce and Agentforce platforms.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of complex data ecosystems, from strategy and modeling to pipelines and integration.

• Push the boundaries of Agentforce by creating custom intelligent agents and offering advanced user experiences.

• Be an integral part of the organization with a proactive and strategic mindset. Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver solutions that have a high impact.

• Get deeply involved with the senior client stakeholders and turn business challenges into clear technical solutions.

• Make sure that the deployment of AI systems, which are critical for the operation, is done seamlessly along with long-term optimization, monitoring and scalability.

• Become the main channel for giving feedback and hence influencing the future product improvements and the Salesforce AI strategy.

• Provide mentoring and support to junior engineers while establishing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related field is mandatory while a Master's degree is a plus. 

• At least 10 years of working experience in development of production quality and scalable systems is required. 

• Multiple Salesforce platform certifications are required (Application Architect, System Architect, etc.). 

• One or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or Apex are mastered. 

• Advanced AI/LLM solution building with prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks has been a part of the experience. 

• Data modeling, processing, pipelines, and enterprise platforms (Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks) are full of knowledge and experience. 

• Salesforce cloud products and custom development are areas of extensive experience. 

• Proven ability to work in a very dynamic, high-impact, agile environment. 

• Excellent communication and leadership skills. 

• Frequent travel (up to 2 weeks a month) for client meetings is no problem.

Preferred Requirements

• Expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce.

• Experience deploying conversational AI in regulated industries.

• Advanced experience with Apex, Python, and Salesforce LWC/Flows.

• Strong background in CI/CD and DevOps within Salesforce environments.

• Experience as a principal consultant or lead engineer in customer-facing roles.

• Broad functional knowledge of Salesforce CRM (Service, Sales, Marketing, Experience Cloud).
