The Senior Data Engineering Advisor position at Dell Technologies in Bangalore is in search of individuals who possess a desire to build large-scale data solutions. This is a full-time position, where individuals will construct and deploy tools to automate data management, integrate structured datasets into applications, and collaborate with data scientists/business teams to produce actionable insights from petabyte-scale data.

Design, construct and deploy analytical solutions to gain knowledge from extensive data sets.
Create web applications, APIs, database objects, and server-side code in support of data-driven platforms and applications.
Work alongside data scientists, architects, and business partners to deliver strategic, high-impact work.
Integrate new components and features into existing applications seamlessly.
Review emerging industry trends and technologies to enhance the solution stack.
8 - 12 years in data engineering technologies with SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop, Spark, and/or R.
Experience in working directly with big data platforms and presenting technical solutions at all levels - technical to business.
Hands-on experience with machine learning, cloud services, and full-stack development (C#, .NET, HTML5, JavaScript, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design data solutions that are performant and scalable.
Experience with object function scripting languages.
Ability to create modern, rich web interfaces using client-side frameworks.
Familiarity with emerging data engineering methodologies and tools.
