Amazon is looking to hire a Risk Manager, AI Automations, to lead Finance Operations (FinOps) risk and compliance initiatives. Conduct risk assessments and devise risk mitigation strategies utilizing AI/ML and automation in FinOps services.
Assess the design and effectiveness of FinOps internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulations.
Identify exceptions to policy or process, developing mechanisms to maximize controllership and efficiency of processes.
Provide assistance to external regulatory or statutory auditors as needed.
Implement disruptive technology solutions to limit organizational risk and make FinOps run more effectively.
Align risk mitigation strategies with organizational priorities and lead the implementation of technical solutions.
Work with other functions to develop scalable, sustainable solutions to risk and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree, or MBA in finance, business, engineering, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative field.
4+ years of experience in compliance program management, audit, governance, or risk/loss prevention.
3+ years of technical program management experience working with software engineering teams.
Hands-on experience with AWS services and GenAI/ML tools.
Prior experience handling confidential or PII information securely.
Advanced experience with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Quicksight, or similar BI tools (e.g. BI Desktop, Domo, etc.)
3+years of experience defining program/product requirements and using data metrics to implement improvements.
Experience managing cross functionality, complex projects, building sustainable solutions and engaging senior leadership.
Experience in business, data science, public administration, finance, and engineering related fields preferred.
