Meta is hiring a Partner Engineer, Generative AI for its Mumbai-based Partner Engineering team. In this role, they will work with strategic global partners, build and launch new Generative AI product experiences, and take Meta’s Large Language Models (LLMs) from research to production. They collaborate with Meta’s Llama engineering and AI research teams to develop technical accelerators, reference architectures, case studies, and best practices to scale AI adoption.

Leverage the most advanced AI and deep learning instances to create and roll out generative AI products.
Collaborate with Meta’s major partners to merge LLMs, tackle intricate technical problems, and provide assistance for production-level AI setups on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Participate in LLMs' fine-tuning, assessing, and optimizing routines using advanced algorithms and prompt-engineering techniques.
Create technical samples, reference architectures, white papers, blogs, and reusable tools to promote Meta's AI best practices.
Gather partner feedback and ensure alignment with Meta’s product and research roadmap.
Act as a subject-matter expert, lead cross-functional initiatives, and communicate updates clearly to engineering and business teams.
Develop high-quality documentation and presentations to explain complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5+ years of experience as a software engineer, technical consultant, or partner/solutions engineer.
5+ years of experience in Deep Learning, LLMs, NLP, Speech Processing, AI infrastructure, or model fine-tuning.
Software development experience in Python, Java, Go, Rust, or C/C++ (minimum one).
Hands-on experience working directly with LLMs beyond API interactions.
Experience with PyTorch, JAX, or similar deep learning frameworks.
Experience building cloud-based AI solutions using Kubernetes or containerized stacks.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or similar quantitative area.
Involvement in the building of deep learning models for Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or recommendation systems.
Involvement in the deployment of sizable ML systems on the cloud.
Participation in the launch of AI-based products or services.
Understanding of mobile or IoT installations for machine learning at the edge.
Contributions to open source or participation in ML competitions.
