As part of the ISS team, the candidate will work on:
Analyze extensive datasets to create predictive models and extract insights.
Establish algorithms to evaluate the legitimacy of transactions and safeguard the platform.
Undertake detailed examinations to uncover patterns that enhance operational efficiency.
Research and develop ML and statistical models to address complex business challenges.
Evaluate models based on experimentation and data-informed assessment.
Submit follow-ups to ensure accuracy is being correctly monitored incrementally efficiency is maintained.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams from the organization including science, engineering, and product.
Communicate findings from analysis of results to stakeholders in visualizations and/or reports.
Help support the identification of meaningful product improvements.
Facilitate high-quality integrity of data through the sourcing, processing, and transformation steps.
Create a querying and data infrastructure that can scale for online and offline use cases.
Document the approach and ensure the resulting data flow is reproducible.
2+ years of experience in data science.
3+ years of experience working with SQL, Python, R, or related tools.
Proven experience in ML/statistical modeling and applied analytics.
Strong background in data querying, scripting, and algorithm development.
Hands-on experience in Python or Perl.
Prior experience in data science roles within large technology environments.
Strong communication and visualization skills for presenting technical findings.
