Adobe is looking for a data science engineer for its Bengaluru office. As a full-time position, successful candidates will be part of the Web & Testing Analytics team which is responsible for advancing customer insights and digital marketing analytics for Adobe Express. It would be an asset to have knowledge/tested experience with web analytics and A/B and multivariate testing; relevant experience of data analysis is crucial to customer experience and analysis.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret customer behavior data to create actionable insights.

  • Review and validate test hypotheses, develop success metrics, and summarize the results of A/B and multivariate tests.

  • Utilize experimental design to inform website, marketing and product initiatives.

  • Utilize Adobe Marketing Cloud tools (Target, Analytics, Ad Hoc Analysis) to conduct analysis and produce detailed analysis and recommendations.

  • Work with marketing teams to define visitor segments and deliver tailored experiences to customers.

  • Integrate insights from multiple data sources to provide full recommendations.

  • Ensure scale, efficiency, and repeatability of analytics solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor's degree (required) and some coursework in marketing; an MBA or master's in economics, statistics, engineering, or IT is a plus. 

  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in descriptive or marketing analytics as a professional in the discipline; experience or exposure in B2C or eCommerce would be beneficial.

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience in similar web analytics tools including Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Google Analytics or CoreMetrics. 

  • In-depth experience in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and statistical hypothesis testing. 

  • Proven technical capabilities in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and ideally Python or R. 

  • Working knowledge of Big Data tools like Hadoop and Hive. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively tell stories with data.

Desirable Skills 

  • Proven ability to perform deep dives into data analysis and a flair for storytelling. 

  • Demonstrated ability to provide actionable insights to stimulate customer engagement or conversion. 

  • Ability to engage teams and collaborate with lots of cross-functional partners.
