Welcome to today's four-fold word challenge! Quordle tests your vocabulary prowess as you hunt for four five-letter words simultaneously. The rules are simple but the challenge is real—nine attempts to solve all puzzles, with green tiles marking perfect letter placements, yellow showing correct letters in wrong positions, and gray indicating letters not in any puzzle word.

Game Origins

Quordle emerged from word puzzle enthusiast David Mah's desire to create a more demanding alternative to Wordle. With developer Freddie Meyer's coding expertise, the concept evolved into the four-grid format that tests even the most skilled word aficionados. Now housed under the prestigious Merriam-Webster dictionary brand, Quordle continues its daily challenge tradition.

What are Today's hints?

Letter Hints

Players only need to guess 4 letters to guess the correct word. Guessing the first and last letter is a good strategic start to solving Quordle.

Hint 1 (First Letter of the Word):

  • The first word starts with F (top-left).

  • The second word starts with S (top-right).

  • The third word starts with R (bottom-left).

  • The fourth word starts with S (bottom-right)

Hint 2 (Last Letter of the Word)

  • The first word ends with T (top-left).

  • The second word ends with H (top-right)

  • The third word ends with R (bottom-left).

  • The fourth word ends with L (bottom-right).

Vowel Hints

Predicting words with vowels are the best hints in Quordle. They frequently appear in English words in a common pattern, such as CVC, consonant-vowel-consonant. For example, try "GEESE" and "GAMUT" from the previous day's Quordle game. Select “Past Games” from the "Daily Classic" drop-down menu, then select the March 23 game.

Today's vowel Hints:

  • 2 vowels are in the first word (top-left).

  • 1 vowel is in the second word (top-right).

  • 2 vowels are in the third word (bottom-left).

  • 1 vowel is in the fourth word (bottom-right).

Elimination Strategy

Repeating letters is best suited for an elimination strategy. When a letter appears twice, half of the word can be guessed with little difficulty. Employ this strategy to cut down chances for attempts with our skillful hints below. From the 21 March 2025 game.

  1. Letter “I” helps with guessing the first and the last word.

  2. Letter “O” helps with guessing the second and the third word.

Today's elimination Hints:

  • No repeating letter is in the first word.

  • No repeating letter is in the second word.

  • No repeating letter in the third word.

  • 1 consonant is repeated twice in the fourth word.

Meaning Strategy

Meaning indicates what a word could be. It's one strategy where instead of guessing letters. An entire game can be guessed with these funny meanings:

  • First word (top-left): Treating the rules as mere suggestions is giving a wink and a nudge at a very cheeky attitude.

  • Second word (top-right): Hulk's favorite verb when he feels enthusiastic.

  • Third word (bottom-left): A sharp tool that bravely faces the daily stubble battle.

  • Fourth word (bottom-right): The size of patience when waiting for your food to arrive.

Spoiler Alert

Solutions ahead. However, before that, try to guess an entire word from the 22 March 2025 game's hint; a slope in a particular direction! For those who are just interested in the final words rather than another journey, today's solution just lies ahead.
