Welcome to today's four-fold word challenge! Quordle tests your vocabulary prowess as you hunt for four five-letter words simultaneously. The rules are simple but the challenge is real—nine attempts to solve all puzzles, with green tiles marking perfect letter placements, yellow showing correct letters in wrong positions, and gray indicating letters not in any puzzle word.
Quordle emerged from word puzzle enthusiast David Mah's desire to create a more demanding alternative to Wordle. With developer Freddie Meyer's coding expertise, the concept evolved into the four-grid format that tests even the most skilled word aficionados. Now housed under the prestigious Merriam-Webster dictionary brand, Quordle continues its daily challenge tradition.
Players only need to guess 4 letters to guess the correct word. Guessing the first and last letter is a good strategic start to solving Quordle.
The first word starts with F (top-left).
The second word starts with S (top-right).
The third word starts with R (bottom-left).
The fourth word starts with S (bottom-right)
The first word ends with T (top-left).
The second word ends with H (top-right)
The third word ends with R (bottom-left).
The fourth word ends with L (bottom-right).
Predicting words with vowels are the best hints in Quordle. They frequently appear in English words in a common pattern, such as CVC, consonant-vowel-consonant. For example, try "GEESE" and "GAMUT" from the previous day's Quordle game. Select “Past Games” from the "Daily Classic" drop-down menu, then select the March 23 game.
