Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to launch on November 14, 2025, across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Battle.net, and Xbox PC. It’s coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one, so fans can play without buying it. There won’t be a Nintendo Switch 2 version. You can get physical copies at stores or online.
PC gamers can conveniently access the title through the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Microsoft Windows Store. Pre-orders are available through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and Battle.net. There are two versions:
Standard Edition ($80): Comes with the game and early access to the beta from October 2-8, 2025.
Vault Edition ($110): Also get the Reznov Challenge Pack, four Operator skins (Harper, Karma, T.E.D.D., Reaper EWR-3), five Mastercraft weapons, BlackCell Season 1 (1,100 COD Points, 20 tier skips), and an Ultra GobbleGum Pack for Zombies.
If you pre-order any version or have Game Pass, you can play the beta early, starting October 2. The open beta is from October 5-8. Some stores might give you exclusive posters if you pre-order.
For the first time since Black Ops 3, you can play the campaign with up to four friends or by yourself. It’s set in 2035, and you play as JSOC Commander David Mason in Avalon, a city in the Mediterranean.
You’ll face Raul Menendez and The Guild, led by Emma Kagan. The 'Endgame' mode turns Avalon into an open world that you can replay with custom loadouts and challenges. Your campaign XP and camos will also work in multiplayer and Zombies, which is new for Call of Duty.
Multiplayer will have sixteen 6v6 maps (13 new, three old Black Ops II ones: Raid, Hijacked, Express) and two 20v20 Skirmish maps with wingsuits, grappling hooks, and vehicles. The Omnimovement system is back, with wall jumps and combat rolls.
There are thirty weapons (16 new), and you can share weapon builds with friends using codes. Weapon Prestige and sixteen Mastery Camos add more stuff to do.
Treyarch says this is the biggest Zombies map ever, set in the Dark Aether with different versions of Richtofen, Nikolai, Takeo, and Dempsey. You can drive 'Wonder Vehicles' around a big map or fight on smaller Survival Maps.
Dead Ops Arcade 4 is back, too. GobbleGums and XP from Black Ops 6 will carry over, and there are new vehicles.
