His Bait mechanic creates constant follow-up opportunities while shredding enemy defenses across the board. Building him correctly will transform your team into a dominant one. Though getting the most from his kit requires understanding how his mechanics interact. Investing in the right relics and light cones matters significantly. Since optimizing relics and light cones can take significant time and resources, having enough resources through HSR top up can make the process much smoother.
Ashveil’s Skill marks one enemy as Bait and deals Lightning damage. If that target already carries the mark, he deals additional damage and recovers one Skill Point. This makes his Skill essentially SP-neutral after initial setup. The real power comes from what happens while Bait exists on the field. All enemies suffer 40% defense reduction, not just the marked target.
Whenever an ally attacks the Bait, Ashveil automatically triggers a follow-up attack against that enemy. This consumes one Charge stack and generates Gluttony stacks. He starts each battle with Charges and can hold up to five maximum.
