Samsung has officially started rolling out the One UI 8.5 beta 3 update for the Galaxy S25 series. The update is based on Android 16 QPR2 and targets users who joined the beta program. Samsung plans to launch the stable One UI 8.5 release with the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Reports suggest a launch date of February 25, 2026. After the Galaxy S26 debut, Samsung will roll out the update to older devices. The wider rollout may happen between March and June 2026.
The list of eligible devices is long. The Galaxy S lineup includes the S26 series, S25, S24, S23, and S22 models. The Galaxy S21 FE also qualifies. Samsung’s foldable phones are also part of the update plan. These include Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip models from recent generations.
