Solana Meme Coins Bonk and DogWifHat To Continue Downtrend, Rollblock Looks Set To Keep Hitting New Highs

The flagship Solana meme coins Bonk and DogWifHat (WIF) are seeing a pronounced cooldown, even while markets are heating up. In year-to-date figures that are mostly green, these two Solana meme coins are both in the red. It’s not entirely unexpected, and investors are pushing into tokens with robust utility; the new GambleFi token Rollblock is a prime example of smart money abandoning meme coins and opting for projects with sustainability.

Rollblock (RBLK): Utility outshines meme madness

Meme coins look great at first, but they inevitably crash, which is why serious investors skip them and look for utility in tokens like Rollblock.  Rollblock is an online casino, sporting hundreds of games and several thousand daily users. An important aspect of Rollblock that’s encouraging: it’s already live, not making promises of what it will do one day in the future.

Now, Rollblock has put its new RBLK token into a presale to raise liquidity for its online casino, and in doing so, it gives retail investors the opportunity to engage in the $500 billion online gaming sector. The kicker: Rollblock pays out a weekly dividend of the income generated on the online casino to all its token holders.

Rollblock is a token that can stand the test of time and put money in your pocket every week just for holding the token.

Bonk (BONK): Solana’s biggest meme coin lags

There’s a sentiment in the cryptosphere that one cannot trust a blockchain unless it has a meme coin. Whether that is true is a matter of conjecture, but Solana took it seriously, and Bonk was born as the flagship among Solana meme coins. Bonk did not do too badly. In fact, it did absolutely great and soon ranked in the top 5 meme coins.

Bonk peaked in November last year, but it has already lost half the value from its ATH it reached not even two months ago. But it gets worse for Bonk. The meme coin market is up on year-to-date figures, but Bonk is down 10%. Bonk has seen better days.

DogWifHat (WIF): Popularity waning for surreal meme coin

Nobody can accuse meme coins of being serious. Their whole reason for existing is filled with humour and absurdity, but WIF takes the cake on this front. The sheer irreverence of the token saw it among the upper echelons of meme coins, but there’s no room for sentiment in investing, and WIF’s irreverence soon turned to irrelevance.

WIF peaked in March last year and has since lost over 60% of its value. In year-to-date figures, it is doing slightly better than Bonk, down only 4%, but there’s not much room left to fall for WIF. Investors who still want to take a chance on memes, would be well advised to give the Solana meme coins a miss.

Conclusion

Solana meme coins Bonk and DogWifHat have not performed nearly as well as their fans would have liked, but at the end of the day, these are just memes with literally zero function or intrinsic value. While opportunities are always lurking in Solana meme coins, the clever investor would invest in a token with real-world value. This is why the Rollblock presale has exceeded $8.7 million in liquidity and looks set to do much more.

Rollblock is now available at $0.046.
