Illuvium co-founder recently launched a series of blockchain games, connected

The Illuvium co-founder, Kieran Warwick, recently introduced a new gaming concept that apparently has never been introduced in the market. It is basically a series of blockchain games that are connected with each other with the help of NFTs. Warwick in an interview has stated that the concept of an interoperable blockchain game is extremely new in this industry. IBG is basically a coin termed by Illuvium and is a series of blockchain games that are connected with each other, forming an ecosystem of interconnected titles which share NFTs, a common in-game currency, or both.

Apparently, the first game will comprise a city builder. It will be a combination of Sim City and Clash of Clans in which players can build and mine resources for use in the second game, which is known as Overworld. Now, Overworld basically aims to explore and capture creatures known as 'Illuvials', quite similar to that of a Pokemon. These Illuvials will then battle in the third blockchain game, the idea of which has been taken from Teamfight tactics or DOTA.

Warwick has also stated that Illuvium is expecting to emerge as a fun gaming ecosystem for its players, rather than play-to-earn and NFT aspects. For those who are unaware of the company, Illuvoum is presently backed by the Illuvium DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization, operating on enhancing funding for the company, even during the crypto slumber season.
