According to his most recent asset disclosure, Narendra Modi’s net worth rose from Rs. 2.85 crore last year to Rs. 3.07 crore as of March 31, an increase of Rs. 22 lakh. The rise is mainly due to growth in his fixed deposits at the State Bank of India’s Gandhinagar NSC branch, which went up from Rs. 1.6 crore to Rs. 1.83 crore. At 71, the Prime Minister also declared having Rs. 1.52 lakh in his bank account and Rs. 36,900 in cash during this period.
