A good gaming phone needs more than a fast chip. A big battery, a smooth screen, enough RAM and steady performance all count during long sessions. Under Rs. 30,000, five gaming phones stand out for different reasons: the realme P4 Power 5G, vivo T5x 5G, Samsung Galaxy A36 5G, OnePlus Nord CE4 and Infinix Note Edge. Each offers its own mix of power, battery life, display quality and extra features.
The realme P4 Power 5G costs Rs. 29,999 for the TransSilver version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The listed maximum retail price (MRP) is Rs. 50,999, a discount of Rs. 21,000. The box holds a charger, a USB data cable, a SIM ejector tool, a protective case and user guides.
The headline feature is a massive 10,001 mAh battery, which suits gamers who want long play sessions with fewer trips to the charger. The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip has eight cores and a peak clock speed of 2.6 GHz. The phone also carries 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and runs Android 16.
The 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display has a resolution of 1280 x 2800 pixels and a pixel density of 453 pixels per inch (PPI). All that screen leaves games plenty of room for maps, controls and action. The rear camera setup pairs a 50 MP main camera with an 8 MP secondary one. Bluetooth 5.4, dual SIM support, 5G, a gyroscope and an in-display fingerprint sensor round out the features. At 219 grams it feels substantial, but the battery makes it a strong pick for gamers who value endurance.
The vivo T5x 5G costs Rs. 27,999 for the Cosmic Green version with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Its MRP is Rs. 45,999, a discount of Rs. 18,000. The box includes a charger, USB cable, phone case, protective film, SIM eject tool, quick start guide and warranty card.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo processor has eight cores and a top clock speed of 2.6 GHz. A 7,200 mAh battery gives plenty of capacity for games, videos and everyday tasks. The 6.76-inch display runs at 2344 x 1080 pixels. The phone runs Android 16, and LPDDR4X memory backs its 6 GB of RAM.
On the back, a 50 MP main camera sits beside a 2 MP secondary one, and a 32 MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also has Bluetooth 5.4, 5G support, a gyroscope and IP68 and IP69+ protection, as listed in the supplied specifications. The 219-gram body and large battery suit users who want one phone for games and daily tasks. The main trade-off is the 6 GB of RAM, which is less than the 8 GB on the other options in this group.
The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G costs Rs. 26,999 for the Dark Green version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Its MRP is Rs. 39,499, a discount of Rs. 12,500. The box contains the handset, a USB Type-C data cable, a SIM eject pin and a quick start guide. A charger does not appear in the supplied box contents.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor has eight cores, with clock speeds of 2.4 GHz and 1.8 GHz. The 5,000 mAh battery is smaller than those in the realme and vivo phones, but the Samsung is lighter at 195 grams. Its 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display offers Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate, so games look sharp and motion stays smooth.
The phone runs Android 15 with One UI 7.0, and Samsung lists an expectation of six operating system upgrades, which adds long-term value. The rear cameras include a 50 MP main and an 8 MP secondary, with a 12 MP front camera. It also supports 4K video at 30 frames per second, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3 and dual SIM use. For gamers who care about software support, screen quality and a lighter body, the Galaxy A36 5G is a well-rounded package.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 costs Rs. 29,999 for the Dark Chrome version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Its MRP is Rs. 32,499, a discount of Rs. 2,500. The box includes the phone, a charger, a manual and a warranty card.
The phone has a Snapdragon processor listed at 2.63 GHz, though the supplied specification sheet does not name the chip model. Its 5,500 mAh battery supports quick charging, with a listed charging time of 19 minutes. The source does not state the test conditions for that figure, so actual charge time may vary. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen runs at 1080 x 2412 pixels.
The Nord CE4 runs OxygenOS 14.0 with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Its 50 MP rear camera offers optical image stabilisation (OIS) and electronic image stabilisation (EIS), and a 16 MP front camera covers selfies and video calls. At 189 grams, it is the lightest phone on this list. The large battery, quick charging, AMOLED display and light body make it a useful pick for gamers who want a phone for more than play alone.
The Infinix Note Edge costs Rs. 28,999 for the Lunar Titanium version with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Its MRP is Rs. 29,999, a discount of Rs. 1,000. The box includes the handset, power adapter, USB Type-C cable, soft film, TPU case, SIM eject pin, quick start guide and warranty card.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor has eight cores and a top clock speed of 2.4 GHz. The phone runs Android 16 and uses LPDDR5X memory, a newer type than the LPDDR4X RAM in the other listed models. A 6,500 mAh battery supports long sessions, and bypass charging can ease battery stress during supported play.
The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display runs at 1208 x 2644 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a listed peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen. The rear camera is 50 MP and the front camera is 13 MP. Other features include JBL dual speakers, NFC, an infrared blaster, Bluetooth 5.4 and a dedicated game mode. The phone is also only 7.2 mm thick, which gives it a slim profile.

The realme P4 Power 5G stands out for its 10,001 mAh battery, large AMOLED screen and 8 GB of RAM. The vivo T5x 5G has a lower price and a 7,200 mAh battery, though its 6 GB of RAM may limit heavy multitasking. The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G suits buyers who value a 120 Hz display and long software support. The OnePlus Nord CE4 brings quick charging and the lightest body, while the Infinix Note Edge offers LPDDR5X memory, a 120 Hz curved screen and bypass charging.
For a gaming-first choice, the realme P4 Power 5G looks strongest on paper, especially for long sessions away from a charger. The Infinix Note Edge also deserves a look for its screen and gaming features. Still, processor names and battery size alone cannot confirm real frame rates or heat control. A final choice should factor in game-specific performance tests, sustained frame rates and thermal results.
