Anthropic has started rolling out a ‘voice mode’ feature for its Claude Code, and it’s already receiving impressive feedback from industry experts. Claude is Anthropic’s AI coding assistant designed for software developers. The feature offers hands-free and conversational coding workflows powered by AI.
The voice mode is an advanced feature that aims to improve the existing application. According to news reports, Thariq Shihipar, an engineer at Anthropic, announced the latest feature. He explained that “voice mode is currently being rolled out gradually.” As of now, it is available to only 5% of Claud code users. The new feature is likely to be introduced to a mass audience over the coming weeks.
The feature allows developers to interact with Claude Code via spoken commands, enabling tasks such as requesting code changes or refactoring.
