OnePlus has confirmed that its next affordable smartphone, the OnePlus N6x, will launch in India on July 31 at 12 pm. The handset is expected to strengthen the company's mid-range portfolio, with a focus on long battery life, smooth display performance, and 5G connectivity.
Ahead of the release, OnePlus has started showing the phone design and the colors, plus a few key specs that got leaked by folks in the industry. OnePlus has also launched an exclusive microsite, hinting that the smartphone will show up on the official OnePlus website, Amazon, and at authorized sellers after it launches.
OnePlus N6x comes in a flat frame design with rounded edges and a vertically positioned pill-type rear camera placed towards the top left side. The device will come in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue color variants.
The back cover will have a matte finish, reducing fingerprints while offering a premium look.
Although OnePlus has not yet unveiled all the hardware specifications for the device, leaked data suggests the N6x could feature a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device would be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor coupled with OxygenOS over Android 16. The OnePlus N6x could handle basic functions, including multimedia tasks, social media usage, and even gaming.
Coming to the camera, the OnePlus N6x could feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera, an AI-enabled secondary camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. Its specifications would consist of Night mode, Portrait mode, and Full HD video recording.
One more interesting specification that is expected to debut with the smartphone is that of its battery, which would be an 8,000 mAh battery – the largest ever on any OnePlus device. A 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging feature would also accompany it.
Some speculated specs would include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock, stereo sound, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C connector, dual-band WiFi, dual SIM 5G links, plus expandable memory.

The OnePlus N6x is said to be priced at around Rs 20,000, so it sits under the OnePlus N6 that was just launched. It should end up going head-to-head with phones from the Redmi Note, Realme Narzo, and iQOO Z lineup.
OnePlus is expected to confirm the official pricing, RAM and storage buckets, the sale date, and the launch offers during the July 31 event. If the leaked details actually match, the N6x could turn into a pretty solid pick for buyers who want a feature-rich 5G smartphone without going overboard on budget.
