A Pokémon World Championship trophy has appeared on the resale market with an asking price of USD 400,000. The award belongs to Junglebook, a member of North American esports team BLVKHVND, which won the inaugural Pokémon UNITE World Championship in 2022.

Junglebook announced the listing through a post on X on October 30, sharing photographs of the trophy and explaining its significance. However, the asking price is negotiable, and the player is also willing to consider non-cash offers, including high-value graded Pokémon trading cards.

Trophy Marks a Historic Pokémon UNITE Victory

The trophy was awarded at the 2022 Pokémon World Championships in London. It features Pikachu holding a smaller trophy while standing on top of a Poké Ball.

Junglebook said the award was earned after securing first place in the first year Pokémon UNITE became part of the World Championships. The player also described the trophy as pristine, claiming it had only been handled during the original awards ceremony.

USD 400,000 Asking Price Raises Questions

The proposed price is considerably higher than previous public sales of Pokémon championship trophies. In May 2025, a trophy from the 2024 Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu was sold through auction house Goldin for USD 12,810, including fees, after receiving 22 bids.

Junglebook's asking price is more than 30 times that amount. However, no one has confirmed that a buyer has agreed to the proposed valuation.

Pokémon UNITE Shutdown Adds Context

The listing comes shortly after the announcement that Pokémon UNITE will shut down on March 23, 2027. The game's upcoming closure could make memorabilia connected to its competitive history more significant to some collectors.

Junglebook's trophy represents the game's first World Championship victory. Whether collectors are willing to pay anything close to USD 400,000 remains uncertain. For now, the listing is an asking price rather than a confirmed sale.
