Dogecoin's short-term moving average fell below its long-term average in late October, reversing a bullish signal from October 5 as DOGE approached USD 0.072. Reports published October 30 described the move as a death cross. Meanwhile, Pepeto promoted a USD 11.2 million meme coin presale and a token scanner, without independent confirmation of the figures.
Binance reported a major hot-wallet breach on October 29, as markets fell. Dogecoin had traded near USD 0.081 earlier that day before falling. The decline brought support levels into focus.
A death cross occurs when the 50-day moving average drops below the 200-day average. The opposite pattern, a golden cross, appeared on October 5. Binance daily-close calculations place the bearish crossover on October 28, while market reports drew attention to it on October 30.
The signals came 23 days apart. The shorter average tracks more recent prices, whereas the longer measure reflects a broader period. Neither predicts future prices.
DOGE reached roughly USD 0.072 on October 30, then rebounded toward USD 0.076. It ended October near USD 0.0756, about 20% below its opening level for the month. That left USD 0.075 as nearby support.
RoboForex identified USD 0.070 and USD 0.067 as further downside levels if support failed. On the upside, its chart mapped resistance near USD 0.0842, followed by USD 0.0912. The October 29 high near USD 0.081 also remains an earlier price reference.
Despite the price weakness, Dogecoin developers announced a separate effort to broaden the currency's uses. Dogecoin Labs brought together the MyDoge wallet, DogeOS application platform, and Such App payment service in October.
MyDoge reported more than 500,000 users. That total describes the wallet's reported reach, not the number of people currently making payments. The announcement did not provide a monthly active-user figure.
DogeOS opened a public test network in September, while Such App offers tools for invoices and in-person QR payments. The projects aim to connect wallet users with merchants and new applications. Their adoption figures remain separate from Dogecoin's short-term market trend. The company has not released transaction figures showing whether these tools have increased demand for DOGE payments in practice.

At the same time, Pepeto has marketed its presale to meme coin buyers. The project claims it has raised USD 11.2 million and advertises tokens at USD 0.0000001904 each. No audited fundraising total has emerged.
Pepeto says its security scanner examines token contracts, liquidity pools, holder patterns, and simulated trades. Promotional material describes a hypothetical token that fails a sell test and receives a critical risk score. The example lacks independent real-market verification.
The project also advertises a bridge spanning five blockchains, zero transfer fees, and a staking yield of 160% annually. The project has not verified actual returns or performance. Outside reviewers have questioned how much of Pepeto's wider infrastructure underwent security testing.
Promoters compare Pepeto with Dogecoin's surge from below one US cent in early 2021 to roughly USD 0.73 that May. They have also circulated forecasts of a 100-fold increase after listing. No exchange has confirmed a listing or those projected returns.
Presale prices reportedly rise between stages. Stage prices do not establish an eventual market price. Its claims remain distinct from Dogecoin's observable exchange history.
Dogecoin entered November near key support after its late-October death cross reversed an earlier bullish signal. Dogecoin Labs reports broad wallet reach, while Pepeto continues to promote an unlisted token and security features. Traders and presale buyers still face separate risks requiring verified market data and independent product checks.
