Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus launch is scheduled for June 4 in India. The company has already started teasing the phone and confirmed some major upgrades. The product will sit at the top of the Edge 70 series and bring improved performance, camera, and battery.
The expected price of the model with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is Rs. 47,999. Higher variants may cost more depending on the specifications. The phone is available in three colors, including Chicory Coffee, Stormy Sea, and Zinfandel.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus features a large 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This enables smooth scrolling and gaming. The display can reach up to 5,200 nits of brightness, which offers visibility in sunlit conditions. Gorilla Glass 7i protection reduces the chances of scratches and damage.
The phone may run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset. This processor is designed for fast performance and smooth usage. It is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This combination should handle gaming, apps, and multitasking without any lag. A cooling system may also help keep the phone stable during long hours of use.
The camera is one of the main highlights of Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus. The phone may offer three 50MP rear cameras, including a main camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto lens can provide a 3.5x optical zoom and up to 50x digital zoom. This will help capture distant subjects clearly. A 50MP front camera may support sharp selfies and video calls.
Motorola’s latest model could have a large 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging support. Reverse wireless charging may also be available to charge other products.
The flagship may also include IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust protection. It will have a slim body and may weigh around 190 grams. It may run on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI and regular software updates. Buyers can purchase the product from Flipkart and Motorola’s official store.
