Pi Network will hold its first Ecosystem Summit online from November 17 to 19, 2026, as its PI token trades below USD 0.08 after a 13.9% monthly decline. The three-day event will feature application showcases, developer demonstrations, platform updates and a new hackathon, according to the project's October 15 announcement. Organizers have not released the full agenda or viewing instructions, and they have yet to share the hackathon's rules or prizes.
The event will bring Pi's Core Team together with developers and application operators. Sessions will cover building software, attracting users and accepting payments across the network. Teams will also demonstrate services that Pioneers can already access. Those demonstrations will focus on the features and services developers currently offer.
Pi plans to introduce new platform capabilities during the summit. Yet the announcement names no specific releases and offers no launch dates. Similarly, the project has not detailed registration requirements for its upcoming hackathon.
Unlike Pi Day and Pi2Day, which address broader network activity, the summit will center on ecosystem development. The project expects builders to explain how their applications work and how users can find them.
For now, the announcement offers no indication that the event will include new exchange listings or liquidity programs. The planned discussions concern applications and development infrastructure rather than secondary-market trading arrangements.
Pi says developers can reach more than 60 million engaged Pioneers. It also reports over 300 Mainnet applications, more than 420,000 nodes and 18.1 million users who have completed identity verification.
Those totals describe the project's reported scale, not how many people use each application. Pi has not supplied consistent public figures for active app customers, merchant purchases, or payment volumes across its ecosystem. The project has not shared common spending figures that would allow direct comparisons among these applications.
The announced program promises demonstrations, but it does not commit to a network-wide report on transactions or customer retention.
Pi's software development kit connects applications with account authentication and payment functions. Its discovery tools also help Pioneers locate services. Still, the October announcement offers no comparable measures of repeat usage for those products.
Some Mainnet applications may support payments without publishing transaction counts. As a result, the reported number of available apps cannot establish how often customers buy goods or services through them.

Alongside summit preparations, Pi has worked on tools for AI applications. Its October update cited support for importing external AI apps into Pi App Studio, improvements to SoloHost and revised developer documentation.
The project also instructed node operators to install Protocol 28 software by October 13. It scheduled the Mainnet upgrade for October 16 to improve delayed transaction handling and enable grouped smart contract updates.
However, that timetable alone does not confirm that the activation succeeded. Nor does it establish any rise in application usage after the planned change.
Meanwhile, Pi announced an exploratory partnership with Open Standard, the organization behind OUSD, on October 8. The two sides will examine rewards for Pioneers and other potential stablecoin services within the ecosystem.
Pi says its native token will remain the network's main cryptocurrency. Dollar-backed tokens could instead help merchants and customers make payments without facing the same price changes as volatile assets.
Still, the project has not set an OUSD Mainnet launch date or disclosed reward amounts. It has also described no requirement for users of the proposed stablecoin services to buy PI.
OUSD already operates on Base, Ethereum, Solana and Tempo. Its proposed integration with Pi remains under development, separate from the summit's still-unpublished platform announcements.
Pi Network's November summit will present applications, development tools and plans for a new hackathon while PI trades below USD 0.08. The project reports substantial network reach, but public payment and usage data remain limited. Protocol 28 and proposed OUSD services also lack confirmed usage outcomes or launch details.
