Apple’s iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro models cost the least in the US among five major markets. The UAE follows second, while India ranks highest in the comparison. Apple revealed the new models on September 9, 2026, with prices varying sharply across markets after currency conversion. The comparison covers official Apple prices across the US, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK, and India.
The US is the cheapest market across every storage option for the iPhone 18 Duo, 18 Pro, and 18 Pro Max. The UAE places second, followed by Saudi Arabia. The UK and India are among the most expensive markets, with India listing the highest prices.
The 256GB iPhone Duo starts at USD 1,999 in the US, translating to roughly AED 7,336. The UAE lists the same model at AED 8,499, creating a gap of about AED 1,163. India lists the device at Rs. 299,900, which converts to approximately AED 11,527.
The price gap grows further with higher storage capacities. The 2TB iPhone Duo costs about AED 11,740 in the US after conversion. The UAE price reaches AED 13,599, while India reaches nearly AED 17,293.
The iPhone 18 Pro shows a similar pattern across the compared markets. Its 256GB version starts at USD 1,199 in the US, while the UAE price reaches AED 5,099. India lists the same configuration at Rs. 164,900, creating a significant gap after currency conversion.
iPhone 18 Pro Max also favors US buyers on listed prices. Its 256GB model starts at USD 1,299, compared with AED 5,499 in the UAE and Rs. 179,900 in India. Higher storage options widen the difference further.
The US advantage needs one important qualification for international buyers. Apple lists US prices before applicable state and local sales taxes, so checkout prices vary by location. Travel costs, currency charges, warranty rules, and import requirements can also reduce actual savings.
For Indian buyers, the UAE offers a closer alternative without matching the lowest US sticker price. However, they should decide after considering taxes, travel expenses, exchange rates, and import rules.
