Halo players can now grab free cosmetic rewards through a new Halo Waypoint promotion. As part of the Halo: Campaign Evolved event, Halo Studios has released several redeemable codes that unlock exclusive in-game items. Players can claim four skins as part of the event. The first is the Silver Anniversary Skin, which players can get right in the customization tab.
The second skin players can grab is the Sandstone Ancient Skin by redeeming the L563-J46G-PZN1-SBF2-AXN6 code. The third skin is another redeemable skin: the Damascus Prototype Skin. Players need to redeem the code, GWT9-DNBT-7X9S-DJCX-8KH3, to grab it.
The fourth skin is the Hidden Blade Skin, and players have to log in to Discord, watch the Halo: Campaign Evolved trailer on the Quests page, and then use the unique code they are given to redeem it via Halo Waypoint.
The event has already started and will only run for a limited time, though the exact ending date hasn’t been mentioned. Halo Studios has asked players to redeem the codes before they expire. The rewards are completely free and do not require any purchase. Once a code is redeemed, the items will be added to the player's account and can be used in supported Halo games.

Free stuff is always a good way to get attention, but many fans feel it’s not enough. Halo has a strong fan base, but the active player count has been drastically down from the game's previous glorious days. Many players say they want bigger updates, new game modes, and more regular content.
The Halo Waypoint giveaway is a nice bonus for both new and old players. This offers fans a convenient excuse to log in and grab some exclusive items. However, free cosmetics aren’t enough to keep a game alive for long. To retain more players, Halo needs regular updates, new content, and solid developer support.
