Dogecoin traded near $0.0734 on Tuesday as the wider cryptocurrency market posted a modest rebound. Rising volume, futures activity, and repeated buy signals suggested stronger participation despite bearish price conditions. DOGE remained below its main exponential moving averages. The 50-day EMA stood at $0.0798, while the 100-day and 200-day averages rested at $0.0877 and $0.1047.

A firm move above $0.075 could signal improving bullish momentum. Still, Dogecoin must overcome several technical barriers before confirming a broader trend reversal.

DOGE Volume and Futures Interest Increase

Dogecoin’s daily trading volume climbed above $1.02 billion on Tuesday. In comparison, volume reached $438 million on Monday and $336 million on Sunday. The sharp rise showed that more market participants had entered Dogecoin positions during the latest rebound. Greater volume can also provide stronger support for major price movements.

Meanwhile, Dogecoin futures open interest increased to 15.45 billion DOGE. The total stood at 14.64 billion DOGE one day earlier and 12.01 billion on June 11. The increase reflected greater activity across the derivatives market. However, rising open interest does not determine whether participants expect higher or lower prices.

Market sentiment remained weak despite the stronger activity. The Fear and Greed Index fell to 25 on Tuesday from 29 on Monday. This reading placed the cryptocurrency market firmly within the Extreme Fear zone. Therefore, investors continued to show caution even as Dogecoin trading activity increased.

Technical Indicators Point to Stabilization

Dogecoin’s Relative Strength Index remained near 43. This level showed weak momentum, although it stayed above conditions normally linked with deeply oversold markets. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator showed slightly positive readings. Together, the indicators suggested possible stabilization rather than a confirmed bullish reversal.

Could Dogecoin turn rising participation and repeated buy signals into a sustained recovery above $0.075? Support remained near $0.0709, where Dogecoin previously broke through a trendline. A daily close below that area could expose the token to further downward pressure.

Meanwhile, resistance remained close to the 50-day EMA at $0.0798. DOGE would also face stronger barriers near the 100-day and 200-day moving averages.

As a result, the token continued to trade within a bearish technical structure. Buyers still needed to reclaim several key levels to improve the wider outlook.

Analysts Track Rare Dogecoin Buy Signals

Crypto analyst Ali Charts reported that Dogecoin continued to produce buy signals on its weekly chart. The TD Sequential indicator showed several consecutive signals. According to the analyst, this pattern represents an uncommon technical setup. Similar formations have appeared before major upward Dogecoin price movements.

Ali Charts also identified multiple successive TD Sequential signals across the weekly timeframe. Traders commonly use the indicator to identify possible trend exhaustion and reversal points. Trader Tardigrade identified a separate development on Dogecoin’s monthly chart. The monthly Stochastic RSI entered oversold territory for the first time since the 2022 bear market.

The analyst compared the current reading with conditions from 2022. Dogecoin later recorded a substantial price rally after the indicator reached a similar oversold level. The Stochastic RSI measures momentum and can help identify possible changes in direction. Market participants often assess it alongside price action and trading volume.

Dogecoin also continues to follow Bitcoin and broader cryptocurrency market movements. Exchange liquidity, retail interest, and community activity remain key factors behind its market performance.

Conclusion

Dogecoin holds near $0.0734 as trading volume and futures open interest rise, while technical indicators point to possible stabilization. Still, DOGE remains below key moving averages and faces resistance near $0.075. Traders should watch the $0.0709 support level and upcoming buy-signal confirmations closely.
