Realme has officially unveiled Realme 16 5G today as the latest addition to the Realme 16 series. The smartphone stands out for its unique feature as an ‘India’s selfie mirror phone’. The model aims to compete directly with the Nothing Phone 4a, OnePlus Nord 6, and Samsung Galaxy A37. What’s more interesting is that many have found similarities in its camera module with iPhone Air’s camera system.

The front-facing 50MP camera allows users to take selfies while recording 1080p videos at 60fps. Realme 16 comes in two configurations. The 8GB RAM/128GB storage model costs Rs. 31,999, while the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant retails for roughly AED 980-AED 1080. Pre-orders start immediately, and general availability begins on April 5. The phone has two colors: Air White and Air Black. The product appeals to customers who want both a fashionable appearance and a practical design.
Realme 16 features a 6.57-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate and achieves a maximum brightness of 4200 nits. The model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor paired with the Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The combination of these components delivers operational performance to run multiple tasks simultaneously while playing games with high graphical demands.
The smartphone features a 7000 mAh battery that supports 60W fast charging to deliver extended battery life for heavy-usage users. It has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, together with its ability to operate on various 5G frequency bands. The phone offers complete connectivity options through Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3, and infrared remote control functions.
