Acer added a new handheld to its gaming lineup with the Predator Atlas 7. The device brings in the same flagship performance as the previous ones, but in a 7-inch model. The gaming console is powered by an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor and Intel Arc B390 graphics. The best part is that the handheld will come with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Therefore, once players purchase the console, they will access the enriched Game Pass library without any extra cost.

To keep the device cool during long gaming sessions, Acer has presented gamers with a dual-fan cooling system that features a metal Predator AeroBlade fan with 89 blades at just 0.1 mm thick. Along with the primary fan, players will have a secondary plastic fan with Vortex Flow tuning.

Battery life is another key part of the Atlas 7. Acer offers a large 80Wh battery, and the model with it weighs less than 750 grams. The handheld also gets two Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a microSD card slot. It runs Windows 11 Home and includes access to Xbox Game Pass. Acer says the Atlas 7 will launch in North America in Q4 2026 and in EMEA from November 2026. Pricing will depend on the market.

Acer has not treated the Atlas 7 like a basic handheld. It comes with Hall-effect triggers and an option for TMR joysticks. The screen is covered with Gorilla Glass, while PredatorSense lets users adjust gaming and system settings.

The design of the console focuses on comfort during longer gaming sessions. To players’ relief, Acer has kept the controls and ports within easy reach, while the large screen gives players more room to see their games clearly.

The Predator Atlas 7 combines strong hardware, a large battery, and a cooling feature to make the console one of the best choices for those who love long gaming sessions. If the company effectively balances performance, heat, and battery life, the new device could become an interesting option for PC gamers who want more power on the go.
