The RailOne app combines booking, payments, and services, and offers wallet discounts on unreserved tickets nationwide.
Using digital payments and off-peak travel options helps passengers significantly reduce overall railway expenses.
Smart planning through RailOne features improves convenience while keeping Indian train journeys budget-friendly friendly affordable.
Indian Railways’ latest move could transform the planning of train journeys and the booking of tickets for millions of travelers. The organization launched a unified platform that brings together a variety of services under one digital interface, the RailOne application, to make it easier for users to access them.
As an incentive for users, the railways have declared a limited 3% discount on the purchase of unreserved tickets through the RailOne app and via digital payment methods.
RailOne is a software application developed and released by the Indian Railways. Customers can now control their whole trip with the RailOne app instead of juggling applications for unreserved tickets, PNR status, live train status, food delivery, and grievance redressal.
Also, the app provides a way for users to sign in with their existing railway credentials, making the transition from the old platforms to the new one smoother and less noticeable. RailOne is available on Android and iOS.

UTSonMobile (also known as UTS) app has always been the main digital platform for purchasing unreserved tickets and season passes.
Although this app became quite popular, it offered only a few features. With time, users migrated to other apps for their travel requirements. However, RailOne has now changed this process with its single-platform approach. The new system takes over several key services originally meant for UTS users, such as the administration of season passes.
As old systems are being retired, RailOne gives a more integrated, productive, and customer-friendly experience for rail services all over the country, whether you are a daily commuter or considering a long-distance trip.
