Meta sees "a valuable chance to acquaint Artificial intelligence specialists with billions of individuals in manners that will be helpful and significant”.

During  the company's earnings call for the first quarter of this year, when it reported US$28.6 billion in revenue and a record 2 billion daily users of the Facebook app.

Zuckerberg gave the most detailed preview yet of how Meta will add generative AI to its apps.

The quarter's profit for Meta was US$5.7 billion, down 24% from the same time last year.

According to Zuckerberg, "We are no longer falling behind in developing our AI infrastructure."
