David AI Secures $50M to Advance Audio Dataset Infrastructure

David AI, a San Francisco startup funded by Y Combinator, has successfully secured $50 million in a Series B funding round led by Meritech and NVIDIA, thus increasing its total financing to approximately $80 million. The startup plans to spend the funds on hiring more researchers, engineers and product developers, establishing closer relationships with AI labs and hardware companies, and improving its audio dataset and evaluation frameworks. The company is the first to do research on audio data and is working to create and collect quality speech datasets in different languages, emotions, and acoustic conditions to make it easier for AI to be deployed in the real world.

Key Highlights of the Indian Army TGC-143 Notification

The Indian Army has released the TGC-143 notification for a Technical Graduate Course at IMA Dehradun, which will start in July 2026 and will grant permanent commissions to single male engineering graduates. Applications will be accepted between 8 October and 6 November 2025. To be eligible, a candidate must be born between July 1, 1999, and July 1, 2006, and must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in the engineering streams specified (or be in the final year of the degree). Five different disciplines, i.e. civil, CSE, electronics, mechanical, electrical, and others, are allocated thirty vacancies in total. The selection process consists of shortlisting, SSB interview, medical examination, and merit listing.
