Apple may bring bigger screens and a new look to its 20th anniversary iPhone lineup. The iPhone 20 Pro could get a 6.4-inch display, while the iPhone 20 Pro Max may reach 7 inches. Apple could launch the models in September 2027, marking 20 years since the first iPhone arrived.
The new iPhone 20 Pro models may also feature a bezel-free design with curved glass around all four edges. This design could make the screen look larger without greatly increasing the phone’s overall size. The change could also give Apple’s anniversary models a fresh look.
Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, has shared details about the larger display. The tipster said, “An exclusive and forward-looking information shows that Apple is proving a super-large screen with a physical size of 6.96 inches and a standard size of 7 inches.”
The rumored 7-inch panel would be slightly bigger than the 6.9-inch screen on the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 20 Pro could also grow from the current 6.3-inch Pro model.
Apple may also bring more changes to the anniversary phones. Reports suggest under-display Face ID could reduce the Dynamic Island size. Solid-state buttons could also replace regular physical buttons on the frame.
Other rumored upgrades include a brighter OLED display and a new 2nm chip. Apple could also use a silicon anode battery to improve battery life without making the phone thicker.
Apple has not confirmed any of these details. The final iPhone 20 Pro design and features could change before the 2027 launch.
