Google has launched the Pixel 11 series in India with prices rising by up to Rs. 14,000. The new phones arrived on August 12, while sales start on August 20. Google is focusing on Gemini AI, better cameras, and the new Tensor G6 chip. The company also launched the Pixel Watch 5 alongside the phones.
The Pixel 11 starts at Rs. 89,999 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Pixel 11 Pro costs Rs. 1,19,999, while the Pro XL starts at Rs. 1,34,999. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold costs Rs. 1,86,999 with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Fold sees the biggest Rs. 14,000 price increase.
Google has built the new phones around Gemini AI and Tensor G6. The new chip helps the phones handle AI tasks directly on the device. Gemini can help with phone tasks, camera features, suggestions, and other daily actions.
Counterpoint Research Director Tarun Pathak said, “With this deeper Gemini integration, the company is leapfrogging the competition with capable agentic AI experiences.”
The Pixel 11 series also brings new camera features, including Magic Capture and Camera Looks. Google has also added better zoom and photography tools across the lineup.
Memory costs have also increased across the smartphone industry. Higher demand from AI data centers has placed more pressure on memory supplies. This has added another challenge for phone makers.
The Pixel Watch 5 starts at Rs. 42,900 in India. It brings Gemini features, health tools, and closer links with Pixel phones. Pixel Buds Pro 2 also receive new software features.
Google is now trying to grow its premium phone business in India. The Pixel 11 gives the company a stronger AI story, but higher prices could make competition tougher.
