The week of August 24-28, 2026, saw fresh capital flowing into startups across space technology, artificial intelligence, physical computing, and autonomous logistics. From an Indian space-tech company preparing for in-orbit missions to autonomous trucking and AI platforms, these five funding rounds highlight where investors are placing their bets.
Indian space-tech startup InspeCity raised Rs. 100 crore (around USD 10.5 million) in a pre-Series A round led by Speciale Invest and investor Ashish Kacholia. Antler Elevate, Antler India, Manish Gandhi and Shastra VC also participated.
The Mumbai-based company is developing technologies for servicing satellites in orbit, including propulsion, rendezvous and proximity operations, robotics and docking. InspeCity plans to conduct four missions over the next 12-18 months as it moves from technology development towards orbital demonstrations.
Stable Diffusion maker Stability AI raised USD 76 million in Series B funding, taking its total funding to USD 232 million. The round attracted an unusual mix of entertainment and technology investors, including Electronic Arts, Sony Music Group, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, AMD Ventures and Pacific Alliance Ventures.
The company plans to use the capital to develop its creative-production products, strengthen research and expand professional services.
Bengaluru-based Runable secured USD 21 million in Series A funding, co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, with existing investors Together Fund and Array VC also participating.
The platform helps small businesses build, operate and grow their online operations. Runable says it reached 1.5 million users and USD 2 million in annual recurring revenue within weeks of launching monetization. The fresh capital will support hiring, customer acquisition and the expansion of its free Runable Academy.
London-based Embedd raised USD 2.7 million in pre-seed funding, led by Seedcamp. The startup is developing software infrastructure to make it easier to build and deploy computing systems for physical AI applications, such as robotics and autonomous machines.
The round also included Cocoa, Connect Ventures, 2100 Ventures, and other investors.

Gatik plans to use the funding to expand its driverless freight operations. The company says it has more than USD 600 million in contracted revenue and has completed 85,000 fully driverless orders.
