Overview:

  • Bitcoin trades near $77,492, up 0.5%, holding above support near $77,000.

  • Solana and Hyperliquid each climbed above 3%, leading gains among major tokens.

  • Bitcoin ETF outflows persist, while Ethereum, XRP and Solana funds keep drawing fresh capital.

Bitcoin held a tight range near $77,492 today. The token is still working through last week's pullback from a three-month high above $81,000. This move followed Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's hawkish Jackson Hole keynote, which caught many traders off guard.

Solana and Hyperliquid led gains among major tokens, both up more than 3% on the day. Markets continue weighing September rate hike odds, fresh ETF flow prints and regulatory signals building out of Washington.

Below is today's Daily Quote roundup from leading crypto market analysts on Bitcoin's near-term structure.

Mudrex: Nine-Day ETF Streak Snapped Last Week

Prateek Gupta, Head of Business at Mudrex, pointed to Bitcoin cooling off after a near 30% monthly run. Warsh's Jackson Hole remarks offered less dovish comfort than markets had priced in. The odds of a September rate hike jumped to around 60% soon after.

A nine-day, roughly $3 billion ETF inflow streak snapped on Friday with a $201.8 million outflow. Gupta said a monthly close above $80,000 is needed to rebuild momentum, with $77,000 the level bulls must defend.

CoinSwitch: Buyers Still Active Near $77,000

CoinSwitch Markets Desk noted that BTC has stabilized after last week's rejection from the $81,455 three-month high. Buyers remain active in the $77,000 to $78,000 band, and institutional demand still looks constructive overall.

Trading volumes stayed on the lighter side, a sign that momentum has not turned decisive either way. The desk flagged $80,000 to $81,500 as resistance, with $77,000 marked as the support level to watch closely.

Delta Exchange: Support Test Defines This Week

Bitcoin and Ethereum opened the week on softer footing, said Riya Sehgal, Research Analyst at Delta Exchange. Bitcoin dipped under $78,000, leaving $77,000 to $76,000 as the key support band to hold. A clean break lower could invite further profit-taking from short-term holders.

Ethereum saw heavier selling despite steady ETF demand, with its funds now on a ten-session inflow run. Sehgal said the coming sessions will test whether Bitcoin can hold the upper $70,000 range.

Giottus: Rate Hike Odds Still Weighing on Price

Vikram Subburaj, CEO of Giottus, said Bitcoin trades near $77,800 amid pressure from firmer September rate-hike expectations. Odds have climbed to roughly 57%, up sharply from about 35% before Warsh spoke.

Higher Treasury yields and a firmer dollar have weighed on crypto prices more broadly. Subburaj advised traders to avoid heavy leverage while macro uncertainty stays elevated, favoring staggered entries instead. He placed support near $77,000, with $79,400 to $80,800 marked as resistance ahead of the September jobs report.

Bitcoin ETFs Extend Outflow Pressure After Warsh's Remarks

Spot Bitcoin ETFs are still absorbing pressure from last week's hawkish Jackson Hole keynote. Redemptions have trimmed August's cumulative haul, though the month still holds more than $3 billion in net inflows overall.

Traders are watching closely for fresh buying to return this week. A steady rebound in flows would ease concerns that institutional appetite for Bitcoin is cooling heading into September.

Ethereum, XRP and Solana ETFs Keep Pulling Fresh Capital

Ethereum, XRP and Solana funds kept attracting inflows even as Bitcoin ETFs slipped into the red. Ethereum extended its inflow streak past ten straight sessions, led largely by BlackRock's flagship products.

Analysts read the split as rotation rather than retreat. Investors appear to be reallocating within crypto rather than pulling capital out of the asset class as a whole.

Grayscale Lists Spot Zcash ETF on NYSE Arca

Grayscale listed a spot Zcash exchange-traded fund under the ticker ZCSH on NYSE Arca this week. The launch marks the first spot product anywhere offering direct exposure to Zcash.

Zcash pairs Bitcoin's fixed 21 million coin supply cap with optional shielding for private transactions. The token has outperformed most majors lately, and the new ETF adds a fresh institutional access point.

Solana's Alpenglow Upgrade Rolls Out Through October

Solana's Alpenglow upgrade is rolling out in phases through October, targeting a sharp cut in transaction finality time. Developers aim to bring finality down from roughly 12.8 seconds to under 200 milliseconds.

The upgrade strengthens Solana's case as a settlement layer for institutional flows. Paired with a validator-approved issuance cut, it has helped SOL outperform larger tokens this week.

SEC's Regulation Crypto Assets Proposal Stays Open for Comment

The SEC's Regulation Crypto Assets proposal remains open for public comment, giving the industry a formal path to weigh in on new offering rules. Chairman Paul Atkins has called it a step toward regulatory clarity.

The framework would create tailored exemptions for certain token offerings and a safe harbor for issuers. Market participants expect the comment period to shape the next phase of federal crypto policy.

Investor and Market Outlook

Bitcoin's next move depends on whether spot ETF inflows resume after last week's outflow. A steady return of institutional demand could support a retest of resistance near $80,000. Continued redemptions may pull price back toward the $73,000 to $76,000 support band flagged by several desks.

Solana and Hyperliquid look best positioned among majors, backed by strong network activity and firm demand. Traders should track this week's ETF flow reports, September rate pricing and fresh regulatory headlines from Washington closely.
