U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracted $23.87 million on Aug. 25 as investors continued buying during a broader crypto market sell-off. Cumulative net inflows reached $1.6 billion, while net assets stood at $1.46 billion. Meanwhile, XRP traded near $1.44 after a sharp two-week rally.

Bitwise Leads Latest XRP ETF Inflows

Bitwise led Tuesday's activity with $11.02 million in net inflows. Franklin Templeton followed with $6.39 million, while Grayscale added $4.28 million. Canary Capital attracted another $2.19 million during the session. In contrast, the 21Shares XRP ETF recorded no net flow for the day.

Still, four major funds recorded fresh capital as total demand remained positive. The listed figures show six straight positive trading sessions from Aug. 18 through Aug. 25.

XRP ETF Demand Accelerates in Late August

U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded no combined inflows on Aug. 14 and Aug. 17. However, investors returned on Aug. 18 and added $5.81 million. The funds then received $2.35 million on Aug. 19 and $13.24 million on Aug. 20. Another $18.38 million followed on Aug. 21.

Next, the products attracted $13.82 million on Aug. 24 and $23.87 million on Aug. 25. Those six sessions generated about $77.47 million in combined inflows. Last week alone, the funds attracted approximately $39.8 million. Earlier in August, cumulative inflows had remained near $1.51 billion for several sessions.

XRP Price Retreats After Sharp August Rally

XRP gained about 40% over two weeks and 46% across seven days. Its market capitalization also climbed above $91 billion during the rally. The token reached $1.5505 before retreating toward $1.4554 on the daily chart. Its latest daily candle also marked a second consecutive down day.

Even after the pullback, XRP remained well above its early-August low near $1.00. The rally toward $1.55 represented an advance of roughly 55%. At the same time, the Average Directional Index reached 44.8, indicating strong directional price movement. However, the longer-term moving-average structure remained bearish.

The 50-day exponential moving average stayed below the 200-day average, leaving a death cross in place. The indicator follows historical prices and can lag sudden market rallies.

The broader crypto market also moved from fear to extreme greed this week. Even so, XRP's retreat from $1.55 left the token below its recent rally peak.

Conclusion:

XRP spot ETFs continued attracting capital through Aug. 25, lifting cumulative inflows to $1.6 billion. Bitwise led the latest session, while six positive trading days added about $77.47 million. Meanwhile, XRP pulled back from $1.55 as its longer-term death cross remained intact despite August's strong rally.
