Seamlessly integrated with the Group’s Content Management System (CMS) Pragya also functions as an independent product, enabling editorial and user growth teams with advanced AI-powered capabilities.
The platform introduces AI-assisted content creation features such as automated keyword generation, highlights, kickers, and draft story creation allowing journalists to focus more on storytelling, analysis and verification. Complementing this is a robust human-led editorial review process, ensuring that all AI-generated outputs meet the highest standards of accuracy, credibility and journalistic integrity.
Pragya also enhances newsgathering through a dedicated Journalist App that enables field reporters to file text, audio, video and documents in real time. The app integrates directly with internal broadcast and publishing systems, ensuring seamless coordination from on ground reporting to final publication.
The impact of AI integration has been significant. The newsroom now benefits from real-time visibility into story status, faster turnaround times and structured content archiving. As a result, India Today Group has recorded a 30% reduction in content creation and publishing turnaround time, a 10% increase in content production and a 2X rise in user engagement.
