The Real Founders Behind Today’s Biggest Tech Giants Revealed

Instagram: Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger co-founded Instagram in 2010, initially launching it as a photo-sharing app called Burbn. Systrom handled much of the product vision, while Krieger brought engineering expertise. Facebook acquired Instagram in 2012 for approximately $1 billion.

Tesla: Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning founded Tesla Motors in 2003, aiming to prove that electric cars could deliver performance and innovation. Elon Musk joined later as an early investor and chairman, becoming Tesla’s most prominent public face and eventually its CEO.

Apple: Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne founded Apple in 1976. Wozniak designed the early computers, Jobs focused heavily on product vision and business, while Wayne helped with documentation and early operations. Wayne left the company shortly after its founding.
