XRP traded near $1.14 as its price tested key resistance and XRPL developers reviewed several problems affecting xrpld v3.2.0. The token remained above its 200-day moving average near $1.09. Meanwhile, ETF inflows slowed to about $12.4 million in July.

At the same time, the XRP Ledger community prepared work linked to the fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment planned for July 29. Developers continued examining performance, synchronization, ledger acquisition, and validator-key reports.

XRP Holds Above its Main Daily Support

The $1.09 moving average remains the main bull and bear line on the daily chart. A break below that level could expose secondary support near $1.05. Price also faces resistance between $1.15 and $1.21. A daily close above $1.15 would confirm the reported cup-and-handle breakout and open targets at $1.18 and $1.21.

Until that happens, XRP could remain between $1.10 and $1.15. The market therefore continues to watch the daily close rather than brief intraday movements. ETF activity adds another layer to the setup. July inflows fell to about $12.4 million, while retail search interest also declined.

However, outflows remained limited. Bitwise and Franklin Templeton continued recording modest net inflows, indicating that long-term institutional holdings remained largely intact. Institutional desks mostly stayed on the sidelines. They awaited easier economic conditions and clearer stablecoin and payment rules before making larger capital allocations.

Can XRP break above $1.15 without a stronger return of institutional demand? The question connects the short-term chart pattern with the market’s slower liquidity conditions. Long-term momentum also depends on real-world XRP Ledger adoption. Stablecoin payments and AI agent microtransactions could support transaction activity as integrations expand.

XRPL v3.2.0 Reports Raise Performance Concerns

XRPL developers also reviewed several reports linked to xrpld v3.2.0. The reported issues covered performance, synchronization, ledger acquisition, and validator public keys. One report said a node began falling behind mainnet consensus after an upgrade from version 3.1.3 to 3.2.0. The same hardware had previously kept pace with validated ledgers.

The operator said returning to version 3.1.3 removed the problem. The report described the behavior as a performance regression within version 3.2.0. Another Windows 10 report said the server remained ‘connected.’ The node maintained about 30 stable peers and loaded a valid UNL with 35 trusted validators.

Despite receiving validations and proposals, the node did not reach syncing or tracking. Instead, it continued closing its own ledgers from the network’s genesis. A validator report described similar behavior on the mainnet. The server failed to download ledger data from peers and could not progress beyond the connected state.

The reporter also noted slower ledger acquisition than version 3.1.3-1. The process took about 13 minutes to move from an empty datastore to full status. Developers also examined a validator-key mismatch.

A service displayed the new validator public key, while server_info continued showing the previously migrated key. The XRPL community continued reviewing these reports as node operators moved to the latest release. The work remained connected to the planned fix cleanup 3.2.0 amendment on July 29.
