XRP rebounded sharply from last week’s selloff and moved back above $1.14 on its strongest volume in weeks. Buyers pushed the token through resistance near $1.12 and kept buying into the close. The move marked a change from earlier rebounds that quickly faded since February. XRP rose from $1.1080 to $1.1442 in the 24-hour session, a gain of 3.3%.

Volume confirmed the breakout. During the June 11 17:00 UTC session, trading reached 120.2 million XRP, more than 160% above average. The rally also started from the same $1.09 area that analysts had described as major macro support.

Ripple Adds MXNB and RLUSD Support

Ripple said Bitso’s MXN-backed stablecoin MXNB will launch on the XRP Ledger. It will also integrate with Ripple’s Payments on the Decentralized Exchange infrastructure. The company said the setup will expand regulated cross-border settlement between the United States and Mexico. Ripple said MXNB and RLUSD aim to provide on-chain dollar and peso liquidity for enterprise payment flows.

The initiative builds around XRPL’s Permissioned DEX. Ripple designed that framework for regulated financial participants rather than retail users.

The new use case adds another institutional layer to XRPL infrastructure. It also places stablecoin-based payment flows inside the same network that supports XRP settlement.

AI Starter Kit Extends XRP Payment Use

Ripple also launched its XRPL AI Starter Kit on June 10. The toolkit gives developers new options for building agentic payment applications on the XRP Ledger. Ripple said the launch supports AI agents that can pay for compute, access data, settle invoices, and complete transactions without constant human direction. The kit also supports X402-powered payments using XRP and RLUSD.

Developers now have Phase 1 access to tools that make XRPL easier to use in AI payment applications. The starter kit lets Claude create wallets, check balances, send payments, and track transactions. It also gives AI coding tools access to XRPL documentation. New xrpl.org pages explain how to test agent-driven payments step by step.

XRP remains below the larger descending trendline that has guided the broader downtrend since early 2026. Even so, traders now see $1.14 as the first support level after the breakout, while $1.20 to $1.25 remains the next major test.

What’s Next?

XRP recovered above $1.14 after strong buying activity pushed it through key resistance levels. At the same time, Ripple expanded XRPL’s utility through the MXNB stablecoin launch and its new AI Starter Kit. Market attention now shifts to whether XRP can maintain support and challenge the critical $1.20-$1.25 resistance zone.
