Apple will open its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026 on June 8, with software updates and artificial intelligence features expected to dominate the event.
At the developer conference scheduled for June 12, we can expect several new announcements from Apple related to iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. At the same time, Apple might announce upgrades to its intelligent assistant, Siri, and Apple Intelligence services.
The keynote begins at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST) on June 8. Apple will stream the event live through its website, the Apple TV app, the Apple Developer app, and YouTube.
While WWDC remains primarily an online event, selected developers, students, and media representatives will attend sessions at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.
Apple is widely expected to introduce iOS 27 during the keynote. Reports suggest the update will focus on refining the interface introduced in previous versions, adding new customization options, and improving performance.
The software may also lay the groundwork for future hardware, including Apple's rumored foldable iPhone.
There will be pretty significant changes to Siri, based on what people are saying. It seems Apple is cooking up a more advanced voice assistant that can better understand context, handle more complex questions, and talk with users in a smoother, more effective way.
Also, there should be a big push for Apple Intelligence to show up across many Apple products. Stuff like upgraded productivity tools, image creation features, and deeper app integration are among the improvements expected.

The tech giant will also disclose the latest releases for iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS. Some sources claim Apple could roll out more health and fitness features for the Apple Watch, as well as AI-driven refinements for Macs and iPads.
There won’t be a hardware refresh, though, since the company is apparently sticking to software updates only.
The upcoming WWDC 2026 conference is happening while AI competition in the technology sector keeps growing, kind of fast. It should look at what the future might bring for the company’s AI work, not just one thing, but a broader direction. Expect news around possible Siri improvements, plus other updates that are likely to roll out in the next few months, and yeah, it’ll probably be pretty notable.
