

Several startups across interiors, artificial intelligence, consumer technology, and electric mobility raised fresh capital this week, with investors backing businesses targeting large and evolving markets. Here is a look at Gravity, Mona, EDT, Outmarket AI and Simple Energy, along with their credentials and expansion plans.
Home interiors startup Gravity raised USD 15 million in a combination of equity and debt, led by 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures. Founded by former Livspace executives Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, Gravity is building a technology and distribution platform for India's interior materials ecosystem.
The company plans to strengthen its technology, distribution, and key-account infrastructure while expanding beyond kitchens and wardrobes into categories such as doors, windows, lighting, and wall surfaces.

US-based Mona raised USD 3.5 million in an oversubscribed round led by Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, with participation from Alumni Ventures, Wisdom Ventures and other investors. Andrew Leon Hanna and Anny Dow co-founded the company.
Mona uses AI to help small businesses identify grants, loans and other funding opportunities, while providing financial coaching. The fresh capital will support the expansion of its platform for capital access and financial guidance.
Mumbai-based consumer technology brand EDT raised USD 2.4 million in a Pre-Series A round led by existing investor Sauce. Founded in 2025 by Naiyya Saggi and Vyasateja Rao, EDT sells products including the LUMA air fryer oven and FLOW kettle.
The company plans to use the funds for festive inventory, new products, and stronger supply-chain, brand, and product teams. It is also entering beauty-tech with SUKI, a hair dryer.
San Francisco-based Outmarket AI raised USD 34.5 million in Series B funding led by SignalFire, taking its total funding to USD 56.5 million. The company uses AI to automate paperwork for insurance agencies and brokers and reports more than 10,000 active users and over 300 agency customers.
The funding is expected to support continued expansion of its insurance automation platform.
Bengaluru-based Simple Energy raised Rs. 1,750 crore, or about USD 180 million, in its Series C round. The company has now raised more than Rs. 2,530 crore.
The capital will support manufacturing, product development, and distribution. Simple Energy currently has an installed capacity of 10,000 vehicles a month and is targeting significant production expansion as it builds its electric two-wheeler business.
