Netflix’s Wednesday is among the streaming platform’s most popular shows globally. The series features Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, who learns to navigate life at Nevermore Academy, a school for students with unusual and supernatural powers. It blends mystery, dark comedy, and the supernatural while exploring the relationships, secrets, and threats surrounding Wednesday.
Netflix has not announced the official release date of Wednesday Season 3. However, reports indicate the season may be released sometime in summer 2027. Like the previous seasons, the third chapter will stream exclusively on Netflix.
The upcoming season follows the success of the first two chapters, which explored Wednesday’s friendships and relationships with her classmates at Nevermore Academy.
The third season is expected to explore the mystery surrounding Aunt Ophelia, whose disappearance is expected to become central to the new storyline.
The upcoming season is also expected to focus more on Enid Sinclair, played by Emma Myers. Her friendship with Wednesday has become an important part of the series.
Tyler Galpin could also return in the new season. Hunter Doohan may reprise his role, although his involvement has not been fully confirmed.
Speaking about the upcoming season, series co-creator Alfred Gough said, “Our goal for season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can.”
