Vivo has been preparing for the release of its upcoming flagship, the Vivo X200 Ultra. Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, has claimed that the phone might be released in April 2025. However, rumors exist that the brand may release the device before March’s market surge. The Vivo X200 Ultra is recognized to come with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip since this is Vivo’s trend of offering its flagship devices high-end hardware.

Chinese citizens will soon start noticing the Vivo X200 Ultra, but its access to the global market remains ambiguous. The brand has always restricted its Ultra series to the Indian market, and global audiences have had to look for other Vivo flagship options.

Vivo’s Foldable Phones and Broader Product Lineup for 2025

Vivo is also expected to debut the second-generation foldable smartphones, either Vivo X Fold 4 or Vivo X Fold 4 Pro, by the middle of 2025. New devices are anticipated to arrive sometime in June or July, which could indicate that Vivo is entering the foldable phone business. In contrast, the X200 Ultra, these foldable handsets, are reported to be released worldwide, implying a new era of Vivo’s globalization.

Besides smartphones, Vivo is expanding into other categories of products. According to the sources, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip is ideal for high-performance users. There are also rumors that the brand is working on mid-tier smartphones with comparatively tiny displays for lovers of compact devices. Such efforts can be exemplified to reflect on Vivo’s strategy in expanding not just its product portfolio but also into different markets.

Vivo X200s Series Rumored to Launch Alongside the X200 Ultra

The company may complement the X200 model with the X200s series, which could be released in the first half of 2025. It could have different designs from the X200 and X200 Pro models, giving consumers more options, but all the products would be in the same series.

The released Vivo X200 Pro and X200, which are already being sold in India at a starting price of Rs. 65,999, have compact dimensions along with the latest features, including MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processors, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, and Zeiss co-engineered triple camera systems. These devices were officially introduced to the Chinese market in October before being slowly released to other markets worldwide due to Vivo’s slow expansion strategy.
