Dyson brings the Dyson Supersonic Travel, a compact version of its flagship hair dryer. Dyson Supersonic Travel hair dryer marks the brand’s push into portable premium grooming.
The device is around one-third smaller and notably lighter than the original. It fits easily into carry-ons and gym bags. Dyson positions it for frequent travellers who want salon-grade results on the move.
The Dyson Supersonic Travel hair dryer is available for select global markets at $299.99. For the Indian market, it is priced at around Rs. 28,000. However, no official announcement has been made regarding pricing details for India. The availability in the country will also be announced later.
The device retains Dyson’s signature temperature regulation. It tracks air temperature multiple times each second. This system protects users from experiencing excessive heat. The system works to maintain hair shine while minimizing hair damage. The feature serves as an essential element, making Dyson's styling products stand out from competitors.
Commenting on the launch, James Dyson, Dyson Founder, said, “The Supersonic Travel delivers high-performance styling while protecting hair from extreme heat. It is built for performance, portability, and hair health.”
According to Dyson, the dryer features automatic voltage support. It operates between 100 and 240 volts. You can plug it in across regions without converters. The product provides convenience for international trips.
The dryer maintains its compact size while using the same airflow system found in larger dryers. Dyson is known for its fast drying with precise control for hair styling, and this time it will maintain the same. The device features all existing attachments designed for Supersonic devices. Some attachments are included, while others are sold separately
The launch complements devices like the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer. Dyson continues to develop both its smart sensors and its design, which centers on user needs. The travel edition focuses on portability rather than new intelligence layers.
