Shares of Steamhouse India rose 10% to Rs. 118.45 on the BSE on Tuesday. This is the highest rise the exchange allows in a single day, known as the upper circuit. The jump came after the company reported an 80.25% rise in net profit for the June quarter of FY27. The stock was listed only three weeks ago.
Net profit stood at Rs. 18.34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. A year ago, it was Rs. 10.18 crore. Profit also grew more than 30% from Rs. 14.10 crore in the March quarter. Revenue rose 13.35% to Rs. 128.62 crore from Rs. 113.48 crore. Steam sales led the gain, growing 46.07%. The company supplied 305,816 tonnes of steam, up 16.70% from last year.
Operating profit (EBITDA) rose 60.08% to Rs. 30.93 crore. The margin improved to 24.05% from 17.03%, a gain of about seven percentage points. The company said it made better use of its waste-to-energy boilers. Higher steam sales also helped it earn more from each rupee of sales.
The company has won a Rs. 311-crore order to build a 300 TPH community boiler plant at the Bulk Drug Park in Una, Himachal Pradesh. TPH means tonnes per hour. The deal also covers running and maintaining the plant, which could bring steady income over the years. Steamhouse is also building a 3.04 MW ground-mounted solar project at Ankleshwar.
