Samsung unveiled on Wednesday that its latest Galaxy A series handsets come equipped with new artificial intelligence (AI) features. The South Korean technology giant is launching an ‘Awesome Intelligence’ package of AI features. It is a trimmed-down version of the Galaxy AI bundle for the company's midrange smartphones.
The generative capabilities found in Samsung's flagship S series were not part of the Awesome Intelligence branding, even though different AI capabilities were added. Remarkably, Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 smartphones now possess the Awesome Intelligence features.
The tech giant exposed cutting-edge synthetic intelligence talents for their median-priced contraptions throughout an official declaration. There were no broad enhancements comparable to Composing Support, Note Assistance, Searching Help, or Sketch Help; one of the capacities underneath the Remarkable Knowledge food selection was either utility- or digicam-centered.
Samsung likely has the best AI features reserved for its top-tier, even if the company didn't mention them. It's not known whether Awesome Intelligence's AI features are all on-device or partially server-based. These features aren't yet offered on the company's lower-end A series phones, though.
The awesome Intelligence suite now incorporates AI Select, Samsung's in-house feature offering contextual recommendations in response to on-screen data from text, photographs, and movies, along with Google's Circle to Search and its new music recognition feature. Also being added is Read Aloud, a text-to-speech feature that allows guests to listen to any web page.
Furthermore, the suite is now equipped with a series of camera-centric features. Galaxy A series users will get the Object Eraser feature, which can remove unwanted items from photos, and Edit Suggestions, which automatically examines the image and offers one-tap effects such as background blur and reflection removal.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy A56 will also get some exclusive AI features. It gets Best Face, which allows people to select the best single faces out of multiple images so that they can decide the best facial expressions of individuals in group shots. The phone also gets the Auto Trim feature, which merges multiple videos to make the best moments.
