Redmi is preparing to launch the Redmi 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro in the Indian market. The company confirmed the launch date for the Redmi 17 series, while the launch date for the Note 17 Pro remains under wraps. There have also been indications of another upcoming Max version for the Redmi Note 17 series.
Ahead of its release, tipster Abhishek Yadav has reportedly leaked the alleged prices of the Redmi 17 and Redmi Note 17 Pro in India.
According to a tipster, the Redmi 17 with 6GB+128GB Storage may be priced close to Rs. 25,000, while the one with 8GB+128GB Storage may be priced at Rs. 28,000. The Redmi Note 17 Pro with 8GB+128GB Storage may have a price tag of Rs. 39,000, and the one with 8GB+256GB Storage may have a price of Rs. 42,000.
According to the leaks, the Redmi 17 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 Chipset, whereas the Redmi Note 17 Pro is expected to come with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset.
Redmi has already announced that the Redmi 17 will be released in India on September 3rd. However, no announcement about the Redmi Note 17 Pro's release has been made yet. But according to rumors and leaks, the device may launch on September 15.

The Redmi 17 is rumored to feature a 6.9-inch LCD panel with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The smartphone is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, with up to 6GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Storage can also be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The device is said to feature a 7500mAh battery with 45W turbo charging and up to 22.5W wired reverse charging. A 50MP main camera could lead the dual-camera setup, while an 8MP selfie camera may sit at the front.
The phone is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 series Gen 4 processor, with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It will feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 3,500-nit peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection.
Regarding the back camera, there will be a 50 MP primary camera, an 8 MP secondary camera, and a 16 MP front-facing camera. There is also going to be an 8,340 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W charging capacity and 22.
