Redington shares hit a record high on August 3 after strong Q1 FY27 results boosted investor confidence. The Redington stock jumped 7.6% to Rs. 346.20 on NSE during Monday’s session.

The gain took the stock’s five-session rise to 23%, supported by strong earnings and upbeat Apple sales in India. Redington’s role as a major Apple distributor also strengthened the positive market view.

Redington reported its highest quarterly revenue and profit in Q1 FY27, with revenue reaching Rs. 34,966 crore. Revenue rose 34% year over year, while profit after tax climbed 77% to Rs. 486 crore. India delivered stronger growth, with revenue rising 63% and profit increasing 60% during the quarter.

The company linked India’s growth to large enterprise deals, stronger PC sales, premium smartphone demand, cloud services, and cybersecurity. These areas helped Redington expand across several technology businesses during the quarter.

Apple sales also added another positive signal for the Redington stock. Apple reported June quarter revenue of $109.4 billion, marking 16% year-over-year growth. India remained among the markets that recorded double-digit growth during the quarter.

IDC India analyst Navkendar Singh said Apple’s India business still has a ‘long runway’ as more buyers enter the market. Wider retail access, financing options, and local iPhone production continue supporting demand.

Redington also saw strong performance outside India during Q1 FY27. Revenue across the Middle East and Africa rose 15% year over year, supported by cloud and cybersecurity demand.

V S Hariharan, Managing Director and Group CEO, said Redington started FY27 with its ‘highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit.’ The results show stronger demand across technology distribution, while profit growth outpaced revenue growth.

The Q1 FY27 results and Apple sales momentum have therefore emerged as key triggers behind Redington shares hitting a record high.
