Realme has officially set to launch its new Realme 14x 5G smartphone in India. The device will be launched on December 18 at 12 PM and available on the same day at Flipkart and Realme’s official India store. This smartphone remains the only model with a price below INR 15,000 ($175/€165) in India with an IP69 rating as a protection against dust and water.
Realme 14x 5G features a sophisticated diamond cut pattern on the back panel: the design that helps mimic reflections of crystals or gems under different sunlight positions. The smartphone will be available in three colour options: Crystal Black, Golden Glow, and Jewel Red. Realme also underlines that getting similar protection elsewhere is impossible, and users can freely use the device in dust, high-temperature water spills, or even in the shower.
This durability makes the Realme 14x 5G a valuable addition to the competitive and thrilling budget smartphone market. The device also features a dual-camera setup on the back and a main lens of 50MP AI with an LED flash.
The Realme 14x 5G details are still unknown, but anticipations are a 6.67-inch HD + LCD and a 6,000mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to launch in three memory configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM with 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM. It may offer the 14x 5G as a rebranded version of the Realme V60 Pro, which debuted in China recently. If so, the device could boast the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which will help to improve performance in the mid-range segment.
