Both phones will go on sale in India from July 9 through Amazon, Flipkart, the Oppo India online store, and retail stores. Buyers can also get an instant 10% cashback with select SBI, HDFC Bank, and other eligible credit cards.
Oppo Reno 16 comes with a 6.32-inch AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, giving smooth performance for gaming, streaming, and daily use.
The camera system is one of the biggest highlights of the Oppo Reno 16. It includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. A 50MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone also supports 4K HDR video recording from all cameras.
The device packs a 6,700mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. It runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and will receive long-term software and security updates.
Oppo Reno 16c offers a larger 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Reno 16c features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto portrait camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP selfie camera. Oppo has also added a 7,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, giving longer battery life between charges.
The new Reno 16 series shows that Oppo wants to offer more than just faster hardware. Both phones include IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, giving strong protection against dust, water, and high-pressure water sprays. These features are still rare in this price range.
Oppo has also added AI tools like AI Remix Collage, Pop Cam, Popout 2.0, Dual View Video 2.0, and the Snap Key shortcut button. These features help users edit photos faster and open favorite apps with a single press.
The Oppo Reno 16 is a better choice for users who want a stronger camera setup and a Snapdragon processor. The Oppo Reno 16c offers a larger battery at a lower price.
