OPPO has launched the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s in India. The new models are part of the company’s premium smartphone lineup and emphasize speed, gaming, battery life, and camera performance.
Smartphone brands are now competing heavily in the high-end Android market, where users expect strong, all-round performance from a single device. Find X9 lineup also shows how companies are slowly turning regular flagship phones into camera-focused, gaming-ready devices.
Oppo’s models are always praised for camera quality. The Find X9 Ultra isn’t any exception. It features a 200MP Sony LYT-901 primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Similarly, Find X9 features a triple-camera setup with 50MP Hasselblad-tuned sensors. Additionally, the models will support Dolby Vision video recording, AI imaging tools, and 4K 60fps video recording.
Both models feature AMOLED displays with high refresh rates, offering smoother scrolling and gaming. Even the devices feature larger cooling systems to reduce heat buildup during heavy use. Interestingly, both devices have a large battery backup of a 7,050mAh Silicon-Carbon battery for X9 Ultra and a 7,025mAh Silicon-Carbon battery for X9s.
However, both the latest Oppo models are priced in the premium category. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant of the Ultra version is available at Rs. 1,69,999, while the same variant of Find X9s is available at around Rs. 89,999.
Buyers can get 10% instant cashback through SBI Card, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, IDFC First Bank, and Yes Bank cards. Further, there are no-cost EMI options available.
Oppo has used a dual-chip strategy for its Find series models. For example, Find X9 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while Find X9s features MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor.
For years, flagship phones mostly depended on Snapdragon processors. The trend is slowly changing now. Dimensity chips are becoming stronger with each new generation and renowned brands use them to balance price and performance. However, Snapdragon chips remain popular among gamers for their graphics stability and long-term performance. OPPO appears to be using both options to reach more buyers.

Gaming phones once looked completely different from normal smartphones in terms of design. Now, many premium phones include gaming-focused features without changing the design too much. The Find X9 series reflects this shift. Buyers now want a single phone that handles gaming, video, photography, and daily tasks smoothly.
Considering these requirements, brands are now adding faster displays, stronger cooling, and larger batteries even to regular flagship devices, despite model prices reaching slightly higher than expected.
