The Oppo Reno 16 series is set to launch on May 25, with leaks pointing to AI-powered features, flagship chipsets, and premium design upgrades. The company has confirmed that it will launch two new devices in the country next week, dubbed the Oppo Pad 6 and Oppo Enco Air 5s true wireless stereo (TWS). As part of the announcement, the tech firm has revealed the design of the upcoming tablet, which is shown to sport the same design as its predecessor.
Oppo Reno 16 series will be launched in China on May 25, 2026, according to a leaked screenshot. In a post on X, tipster Anvinraj Valiyathara (@ZionsAnvin) has shared a screenshot, which seemingly confirms that the Oppo Reno 16 series will be launched in China on May 25 at 6 pm local time (3:30 pm IST).
In terms of pricing, the Pro model will reportedly arrive in China at a starting price of CNY 4,000 (roughly Rs. 56,000). While the standard model is tipped to go on sale in Black Horse, Fairy Purple, Heartbeat Star, and Lucky Clover (translated from Chinese) colour options, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro variant could be offered in Black Horse, Dream Blue, and Heartbeat Star shades.
OPPO Pad 6 uses LCD rather than OLED. At 12.1 inches and 3K resolution, the pixel density it provides is sharp, and it has a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. Users are expected to experience content scrolling and gaming more fluidly. The ‘soft light’ designation in OPPO's marketing refers to display tuning for reduced blue light output and reduced flicker. It reduces strain on the eyes.
For a tablet used primarily for media consumption, document editing, and moderate gaming, that trade-off is straightforwardly correct. The 10,420mAh battery paired with an efficiency-tuned chip is expected to deliver excellent battery life.
Color options for the Pad 6 include Galaxy Silver, Starlight Blue, and Deep Space Grey. The 12.1-inch Pad 6 sits between the compact OPPO Pad Mini and the premium Pad 5 Pro in the lineup. Pricing has not been officially confirmed, but positioned against the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Samsung Tab S10 FE at the mid-premium tier.
